Heroes
Heroes are extraordinary humans with knowledge and the power over Will. One of the earliest Heroes was William Black and saved Albion from the court by using Will. Since then many Heroes have walked Albion and accepted quests given to them by the People of Albion. These quests have earned them renown and gold. These quests can be undertaken at the Heroes' Guild but need a certain amount of Renown to take them. Also, thanks to Weaver, heroes may choose the path of good or evil freely. It is very rare that a hero may possess control over all 3 of the Hero disciplines (Strength, Skill, and Will).
Albion Guard

"No one knows exactly when the guards were created, though it was probably made as a precaution for all towns in the case of bandit or balverine attacks. They kept peace and order in every single settlement in Albion, though were not entirely pure and would let anyone who sponsored their break off the hook and lets you kill traders outside of towns. Guards showed either kind, gentle demeanors toward pure heroes or hostile scowls at evil ones. Guards were a part of the final fighting force arranged by the Guildmaster in the final battle against the evil hero, Jack of Blades. They also apparently wield obsidian longswords. From various dialogues in both games, it can be deduced that there is a institution where guards are trained and recruited which is known as The Guard Academy."
"In Fable, there are three known types of guards: Blue Guards of the 3rd Regiment, Red Guards, of the 4th Regiment, and the Black Guards of the 5th Regiment."

Bandits
"Unlike most criminals, bandits see their wicked acts as a way of life, and often organize into "clans" of individuals with a similar philosophy. Many of these clans roamed Albion, never staying in one place for long, while others created camps, or stole them from their former residents. Bandits rarely get along with others outside their clan, and typically fight other clans for territory, power, or simply to settle arguments."
"Most Bandits are organized into Clans or Gangs. Notable gangs include the Blackhand Gang and the Death Clan. The Forrest Clans were a major group of clans who, along with a dozen others (According to Maze), were united under the leadership of Twinblade, who proclaimed himself King of the Bandits. The only other person to have united the bandits under one banner was Maniac Mary."
"The life of a bandit is a life of freedom, and dark honour. Bandits see the consumption of alcohol, murder, and pillaging not as evil acts, but as an expression of freedom. Bandits prize strength and cunning above all else, and respect anyone who has it. Bandits are not to be trusted, and will not think twice to stab one in the back if it means heightening their reputation. Even the most vile of bandits are not without a shred of humanity, however. Twinblade's altruistic rescue of Theresa is an example of this."
Temple of Avo
"The Temple of light is here. Generosity will be rewarded." -Angelic voice upon entrance to temple, possibly Avo himself
"The temple is dedicated to the side of all that's good and pure... It can be found near Knothole Glade. Inside the temple, there is a place to donate gold."
"Avo is a God, who represents the light side alignment. He is a direct counterpart to Skorm, who represents evil. Many years ago, followers of Avo and Skorm battled, as shown by the Holy warrior and Daemon helms found in the Northern Wastes."
"The Oracle claims that Avo and Skorm were created by an enterprising merchant who noticed two spots in Albion where will was particularly strong - one that gave off a calming aura and one that gave a malevolent aura. He built temples on top of them and started the mythologies associated with Skorm and Avo."

"It can be speculated that the belief in Skorm and Avo was started centuries before the Hero[ of Oakvale]'s Journey, as two armies held a battle in Snowspire over whose god was superior."
"The Chapel of Skorm is a deadly shrine dedicated to the devil of Albion, Skorm. Here, [folk can] donate other people's blood to the worshipers of Skorm to receive the gifts of evil."
